We are dedicated to studying tropical ecosystems and biodiversity, promoting knowledge dissemination, collaborations, and inspiring new research initiatives in the field of tropical ecology and taxonomy.
Our Aim
Facilitating research for students by providing access to state-of-the-art facilities and resources, as well as expert guidance from experienced researchers on biological subjects including tropical medicine.
Conduct mentorship programs, training sessions, workshops, and research internships for students and the public by providing field support, help documentation, and publication.
Deliver biodiversity-related and taxonomy services to advance our understanding of tropical biodiversity and its conservation, The lab will provide researchers and students with the necessary tools to study, photograph, and identify species, as well as to document and analyze their genetic diversity.
Establish and maintain butterfly gardens and organic farming.
Individually as well as collaborate with like-minded firms, and NGOs, to participate in and execute projects, bids, and tenders.
Cutting-edge research on topics such as climate change, wildlife conservation, man-animal conflict, and sustainable agriculture, and collaboration with other institutions and organizations around the world to share knowledge and expertise.
Act as consultants in projects involving natural bioresources, Environmental Impact Assessments, and remote sensing aspects like GIS.
Act as a training and research centre for students from Universities and Research institutions and facilitate internships and training.
